Korey Nixon brings over twelve years of experience in the financial services industry to BMO Private Wealth, providing investment advice, performing retirement planning, and carrying a breadth of industry knowledge. Korey is a graduate of Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, NS, and holds his Bachelor of Commerce degree, with majors in both Finance and Economics. In addition, Korey holds the Certified Financial PlannerÂ® designation, considered the standard for the profession, representing the highest level of competence, ethics, and practice. In 2019, Korey earned the Chartered Investment Manager (CIMÂ®) designation, which further demonstrates his proficiency and high ethical standards. Korey became a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute in late 2019 as well. Originally from the Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia, he now lives in Rothesay, New Brunswick, with his wife Anna and two children Grace and Luke. Korey enjoys marathon distance running and more recently, boating, and is an active volunteer in his church and community.
